Throttle Position Switch: Testing and Inspection

Throttle Valve Switch Testing:

1. Disconnect electrical connector from throttle switch.
2. Connect ohmmeter across switch terminals B and C.
3. Check ohm readings with throttle open and closed. Readings should be:

Continuity with throttle closed
No continuity with throttle open

4. Replace switch if readings are not as specified.
