Step 3 - Mode Door Position Checks

Self-Diagnosis Step 3 - Mode Door Positions:







PURPOSE

This step checks the operation of all mode doors.

OPERATION

NOTE: It takes about 16 seconds for the self-diagnostic system to check all mode doors. Also, if any mode door position sensor malfunctions, the mode door motor will also malfunction.

If a mode door does not work properly, the LED display shows a code number that corresponds to that door.

If two or more mode doors malfunction, corresponding code numbers blink two times.

LIST OF SENSOR CODES AND CONDITIONS

NOTE: A code 30 will display when all mode doors check OK.
