1. Remove control cable from manual lever, then set selector lever manual lever to Neutral position.
2. Loosen inhibitor switch attaching screws.
3. Insert suitable pin into adjustment holes in both inhibitor switch and switch lever as near vertical as possible, Fig. 6.
4. Tighten attaching bolts, then while moving selector lever through all gear ranges, check switch for continuity as shown in Figs. 8 and 9.
5. Compare results with Figs. 5 and 10.
6. If switch does not operate as specified, replace switch.
