1. Remove control cable end from manual shaft, Fig. 3.
2. Set manual shaft in "N range, then loosen inhibitor switch fixing bolts.
3. Insert a 0.157 inch (3.9 mm) pin into adjustment hole in both inhibitor switch and manual shaft as vertically as possible, Fig. 5.
4. Tighten inhibitor switch fixing bolts.
5. Remove pin from adjustment hole, then adjust control cable as follows:
a. Place selector in "P position.
b. Loosen control cable locknut, then place manual shaft in "P" position.
c. Adjust using long hole in control cable at transaxle end, Fig. 3.
d. Torque locknut to 13-17 ft. lbs.
e. Move selector lever from "P" range to "1" range, ensuring selector lever moves smoothly.
f. Apply a suitable grease to contacting areas of selector lever and control cable.
