Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

TPS Test:

1. Disconnect throttle position sensor harness connector.

2. Make sure that resistance between terminals "b" and "c" changes when opening throttle valve manually.

With accelerator pedal:

Completely released: Approximately 1.0K Ohms
Partially released: 1.0 - 9.0K Ohms
Completely depressed: Approximately 9.0K Ohms


3. If NG, replace throttle position sensor.
