This is an amended version of the previously-issued Technical Bulletin NTB93-122a (EF&EC93-010a). This new version supplies revised Service Tool information.

SERVICE INFORMATION:








The 1993-4 Maxima (J30) with VE30DE Engine has a new shape power transistor harness connector on the ignition coil side (Figure 1). Evaluation of ignition timing on this vehicle requires a different Adapter Service Tool, P/N J39387 (Figure 2).
