Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Throttle Position Sensor Testing:

1. Disconnect throttle position sensor harness connector.
2. Make sure that resistance between terminals (b) and (c) changes when opening throttle valve manually.

Accelerator pedal condition Resistance k ohms
Completely released Approximately 1
Partially released 1-9
Completely depressed Approximately 9

If NG, replace throttle position sensor.
