Control Valve Assembly And Accumulators

1. Drain fluid from transaxle, then remove oil and pan.
2. Disconnect transaxle solenoid harness electrical connector.
3. Remove stopper ring from transaxle solenoid harness terminal body.
4. Remove transaxle solenoid harness from transaxle case by pushing on terminal body.

5. Remove control valve assembly by removing fixed bolts, Fig. 6. Do not drop manual valve, tube connector, tubes or 3-R accumulator return spring.
6. Remove 3-R and N-D return springs by applying compressed air and holding each piston with a rag, if necessary.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Set manual shaft in Neutral, then align manual plate with groove in manual valve.
b. Following control valve installation, ensure selector lever can be moved to all positions.
