Auxiliary Air Valve (Idle Speed): Testing and Inspection

Air Cut Valve:

1. Remove idle air adjusting unit from engine.
2. Immerse unit in cold water (less than 68°F - 20°C) and then in hot water (more than 176°F - 80°C).
3. Check that shutter valve opens.
4. Replace unit if it fails inspection.
