Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Throttle Position Sensor Testing:

1. Disconnect throttle position sensor harness connector.
2. Make sure that resistance between terminals (e) and (f) changes when opening throttle valve manually.

Accelerator pedal conditions Resistance k ohms
completely released Approximately 1
Partially released 1 - 9
completely depressed Approximately 9

If NG, replace throttle position sensor.
