COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
The Fast Idle Cam (FIC) is installed on the throttle body to maintain adequate engine speed while the engine is cold. It is operated by a volumetric change in wax located inside the thermo-element. The thermo-element is operated by engine coolant temperature.
