Overrun Clutch Solenoid Valve Circuit Check

The overrun clutch solenoid valve is activated by the A/T control unit in response to signals sent from the inhibitor switch, OD switch, vehicle speed and throttle position sensors. The overrun clutch operation will then be controlled.

Trouble judgment conditions





Diagnostic trouble code detecting condition

With CONSULT



1.Start engine.
2. Select "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" mode with CONSULT.
3. Drive vehicle under the following conditions:
Shift lever in D, OD control switch in "OFF" position and vehicle speed higher than 10 kph (6 MPH).

With Generic Scan Tool



1. Start engine.
2. Drive vehicle under the following conditions:
Shift lever in D, OD control switch in "OFF" position and vehicle speed higher than 10 kph (6 MPH).
3. Select "MODE 3" WITH GENERIC SCAN TOOL.

Without Scan Tool



1. Start engine.
2. Drive vehicle under the following conditions:
Shift lever in D, OD control switch in "OFF" position and vehicle speed higher than 10 kph (6 MPH).
3. Perform self-diagnosis.
