SERVICE INFORMATION

If there is excessive noise coming from the exhaust system of a 1995-96 240SX vehicle, the cause may be a cracked or broken flange on the front exhaust tube assembly.

Countermeasure components are available to reduce this incident.

SERVICE PROCEDURE





1. Inspect the forward flange of the front exhaust tube to determine if it is cracked or broken.

2. If the flange is cracked or broken, replace the exhaust system components as listed in the Parts Information table.
