VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN: MAXIMA (A32) AND 240SX (S14) EMISSIONS LABEL

INTRODUCTION

Nissan has developed a modified emissions label for certain early production OBD II equipped 1995 240SX's and Maxima's in the State of California only. Owners of these vehicles in California are being sent the letter shown in this bulletin along with a replacement label.

Early production 1993 240SX's and Maxima's in California only. Please verify the need for this campaign via Service-Comm.

DEALER RESPONSIBILITY

It is the dealer's responsibility to make the correction listed in this bulletin on all affected vehicles in dealer inventory, and on all retailed vehicles when requested by the owner.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

Clean the existing emissions label with "Prepsol" or equivalent to ensure it is free of any wax or grease, and install the new label directly over it.
