AUTHORIZATION

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan, authorizes Nissan Motor Corporation, U.S.A. (NMC) to conduct a recall campaign on certain 1995 Nissan 240SX coupes.

INTRODUCTION

Because of an improperly wired diode, the Brake Warning Lamp will not illuminate if the brake fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir drops sufficiently to activate the low level switch. As a result, Nissan has decided to conduct a voluntary recall campaign to replace the diode to ensure proper operation of this warning light.

IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS

Nissan has assigned identification number 94V-135 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign.
