Electrical Component Inspection
Pin Connector Terminal Layout:
INSPECTION OF A/T CONTROL UNIT
- Measure voltage between each terminal and terminal (15) or (48) by following "A/T CONTROL UNIT INSPECTION TABLE".
- Pin connector terminal layout.

THROTTLE POSITION SWITCH (Idle position)
1. Check continuity between terminals (1) and (2) and between terminals (3) and (4), (5), (6), (7), (8), (9) while moving selector lever through each position.
2. If NG, check again with manual control linkage disconnected from manual shaft of A/T assembly. - Refer to step 1.
3. If OK on step 2, adjust manual control linkage.
4. If NG on step 2, remove inhibitor switch from A/T and check continuity of inhibitor switch terminal. - Refer to step 1.
5. If OK on step 4, adjust inhibitor switch.
6. If NG on step 4, replace inhibitor switch.
Revolution Sensor:

Fluid Temperature Sensor:
FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR
TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID VALVE
- Check resistance between two terminals.
Resistance: Torque converter clutch solenoid valve 10 - 20 Ohm
3-Unit Solenoid Assembly (Shift Solenoid Valves A, B And Overrun Clutch Solenoid Valve) And Line Pressure Solenoid Valve:
3-UNIT SOLENOID ASSEMBLY (SHIFT SOLENOID VALVES A, B AND OVERRUN CLUTCH SOLENOID VALVE) AND LINE PRESSURE SOLENOID VALVE
DROPPING RESISTOR
- Check resistance between two terminals.
Resistance: 11.2 - 12.8 Ohm
