Throttle Position Switch: Testing and Inspection

Closed Throttle Position Switch (Hard Idle Position):

1. Disconnect closed throttle position switch harness connector.
2. Check continuity between terminals A and B.

Accelerator pedal condition Continuity
Released Yes
Depressed No

If Not Good, replace closed throttle position switch. Refer to service and repair.
