Testing Procedures 1 To 5

Wastegate/Turbocharger Inspection:

1. Check wastegate and turbocharger at locations noted in image above for cracks and leaks.

Turbocharger Oil Tube Inspection:

2. Check turbocharger oil tubes for clogging.

Rotor Shaft Inspection:

3. Check rotor shaft for smooth rotating

Rotor Shaft Inspection:

4. Check rotor shaft for carbon deposits.

Rotor Shaft Runout:

5. Measure runout of rotor shaft.
^ Runout (total indicator reading): 0.056 - 0.127 mm (0.0022 - 0.0050 inches)
