Without Scan Tool

VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR (VSS) (DTC: P0500)
1) Start engine and warm it up sufficiently.
2) Perform test drive for at least 10 seconds continuously in the following recommended condition.

Engine speed: 1,650-2,400 rpm
Intake manifold vacuum: 49.3 to -26.7 kPa
(-370 to -200 mmHg, -14.57 to -7.87 inHg)
Gear position: Suitable position (except "N" or "P" position)

3) Stop the vehicle, turn ignition switch "OFF", wait for at least 3 seconds and then "ON".
4) Perform "Diagnostic Test Mode II (Self-diagnostic results)" with ECM.

NOTE: Even though Diagnostic Trouble Code is not detected, perform the above test drive at least one more time.
