Without Scan Tool

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DETECTING CONDITION
For The Above Malfunction a)
1) Start engine and wait for at least 3 seconds.
2) Turn ignition switch "OFF". Wait for at least 3 seconds and then turn "ON" again.
3) Perform "Diagnostic Test Mode II (Self-diagnostic results)" with Engine Control Module (ECM).

For The Above Malfunction b)
1) Start engine and warm it up sufficiently.
2) Turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait for at least 3 seconds.
3) Start engine again and run it for at least 30 seconds at idle speed. (Headlamp switch, rear defogger switch: OFF)
4) Turn ignition switch "OFF", wait for at least 3 seconds and then "ON".
5) Perform "Diagnostic Test Mode II (Self-diagnostic results)" with ECM.
