Overall Function Check With Scan Tool

OVERALL FUNCTION CHECK
Instead of performing the DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) DETECTING CONDITION, the following method can be used for checking the function of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and Canister Control Solenoid Valve. (However, the DTC detection can not be confirmed.)

With Consult



1) Turn ignition switch "ON".
2) Perform "EGRC SOL/V CIRCUIT" in "FUNCTION TEST" mode with CONSULT.

OR

With GST



1) Turn ignition switch "ON".
2) Perform "EGRC SOLENOID VALVE" in "ACTIVE TEST" mode with CONSULT and check the operating sound, according to ON/OFF switching.
