Hazard Warning Lamps: Description and Operation
Power is supplied at all times to hazard switch terminal (3) through^ 10 A fuse (No. (11) located in the fuse block in the HEC).
With the hazard switch in the ON position. power is supplied
^ through terminal (1) of the hazard switch
^ to combination flasher unit terminal (B)
^ through terminal (L) of the combination flasher unit
^ to hazard switch terminal (4) (through terminal (6) of the joint connector-17).
Ground is supplied to the combination flasher unit terminal (E) through body grounds (M13) and (M73).
Power is supplied through terminal (5) of the hazard switch to
^ front turn signal lamp LH terminal (1) (through fuse block (HEC) terminals (2J) and (6S)
^ rear combination lamp LH terminal (2) (through fuse block (HEC) terminals (2J) and (4Q) and
^ combination meter terminal (32).
Power is also supplied through terminal (6) of the hazard switch to
^ front turn signal lamp RH terminal (1) (through fuse block (HEC) terminals (11J) and (13Q)
^ rear combination lamp RH terminal (2) (through fuse block (HEC) terminals (11J) and (5Q) and
^ combination meter terminal (19) (through fuse block (HEC) terminals (11J) and (5H).
Ground is supplied to terminal (2) of the front turn signal lamps through body grounds (E5) and (E30).
Ground s supplied to terminal (4) of the rear combination lamps through body grounds (T6) and (T9).
Ground is supplied to combination meter terminal (31) through body grounds (M13) and (M73).
With power and ground supplied, the combination flasher unit controls the flashing interval of the hazard warning lamps.
