Generic Scan Tool

DESCRIPTION
Generic Scan Tool (GST) (OBDII scan tool) complying with SAE J1978 has five different functions. ISO9141 is used as the protocol.




INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1. Turn off ignition switch.
2. Connect "GST" to data link connector for GST. [Data link connector for GST is located near the center console side cover (RH)].




3. Turn ON ignition switch.
4. Enter the program according to instruction on the screen or in the operation manual.

5. Perform each diagnostic mode according to each service procedure.
