Rear Suspension Assembly

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support vehicle, then disconnect ABS wheel sensor, Fig. 2.
2. Remove brake caliper assemblies and suspend with wire, then the rotors.
3. Support torsion beam with suitable transmission jack, then raise slightly and remove suspension attaching nuts and bolts.
4. Remove luggage compartment trim, then upper strut mounting nuts and strut assembly.

INSTALLATION
1. Temporarily attach torsion beam to vehicle.
2. Place lateral link and control rod horizontally against torsion beam, then tighten lateral link bolts to specifications.
3. Attach shock absorber to vehicle, then tighten lower shock absorber nut to specifications.
4. Tighten torsion beam to specifications with suspension in full rebound position.
