HOW TO ERASE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (WITHOUT CONSULT OR GST)
1. If the ignition switch stays "ON" after repair work, be sure to turn ignition switch "OFF" once. Wait for at least 3 seconds and then turn it "ON" again.







2. Perform the above Self-diagnostic Procedure (without CONSULT or GST).

(The engine warm-up step can be skipped when performing the diagnosis only to erase the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).).

3. Change the diagnostic test mode from Mode II to Mode I by turning the mode selector on the Engine Control Module (ECM). See the chart above on how to switch diagnostic test modes.
