Vehicle Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

The manufacturer does not specifically provide a removal and installation procedure for the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) as a separate component. The VSS is a reed switch that is installed in the speedometer. The speedometer is installed in the combination meter, therefore, removal of the combination meter is required to replace the VSS.
