Diagnostic Trouble Code Confirmation Procedure

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1) Start engine and warm it up sufficiently.
2) Perform test drive for at least 10 seconds continuously in the following recommended condition.

Engine speed: (A/T models) 2,000 - 3,200rpm
(M/T models) 1,950 - 2,900rpm

Intake manifold vacuum: -40.0 to -26.7 kPa (-300 to -200 mmHg, -11.81 to -7.87 inHg)

Gear position: Suitable position (except "N" or "P" position)

3) Stop the vehicle, turn ignition switch "OFF", wait for at least 3 seconds and then "ON".
4) Perform "Diagnostic Test Mode II" (Self-diagnostic results) with Engine Control Module (ECM).

Even though Diagnostic Trouble Code is not detected, perform the above test drive at least one more time.
