Antenna: Description and Operation

Power is supplied at all times
^ through 7.5 A fuse (No. (8), located in the fuse block)
^ to power antenna terminal (3).
Ground is supplied to the power antenna terminal (6) through body grounds (B4), (B13) and (T16).
When the radio is turned to the ON position, battery positive voltage is supplied
^ through radio terminal (5)
^ to power antenna terminal (4).
The antenna raises and is held in the extended position.
When the radio is turned to the OFF position, battery positive voltage is interrupted
^ from radio terminal (5)
^ to power antenna terminal (4).
The antenna retracts.
