Bumper Cover Preparation PUR or PP

1. Wash with soap and water and 2319S Plastic Prep.

2. Sand thoroughly with # 400 - # 600 grit paper or scuff pad.

3. Remove sanding sludge and eliminate static with 2319S Plastic Prep. To ensure all of the mold release agent is removed, you can:

Temper the raw plastic at 140° F for 45 minutes to get rid of mold release agents (do not sand after tempering).

Then remove mold release agents with 23195.

Coating PUR (polyurethane) or PP (polypropylene) bumper covers

4. Apply 2322S according to label directions (to ensure adhesion).

5a. Apply light coats of URO Prime 1120S with 92505 Flexible Additive (for surfacing).

or

5b. Apply 1 coat of Prime 'N Seal (for sealing).

6a. Basecoat/Clearcoat Procedures

1. Topcoat with Chroma Base Basecoat according to label directions.

2. Clearcoat Chroma Base Basecoat with Chroma Clear High Glamour 7800S or Chroma Clear MULTI Use 75005.

6b. NON Basecoat/Clearcoat Procedures

Topcoat with Chroma One Single Stage according to label direction.
