SERVICE INFORMATION

Follow the procedures in this bulletin if a 1996 300ZX exhibits a MIL "on" and DTC P0505 (IACV-AAC valve) stored in the engine control module (ECM).

If conventional diagnosis does not resolve this incident, a countermeasure ECM is available.

SERVICE PROCEDURE





1. Follow the diagnostic procedure beginning on page EC-237 of the 1996 300ZX Service Manual to verify the operation of the IACV-AAC valve.

2. If the valve is operating correctly, install the countermeasure ECM from the table.
