Cylinder Head Assembly: Service Precautions

Use an angle wrench for the final tightening of the following engine parts:

(1) Cylinder head bolts
(2) Connecting rod cap nuts

CAUTION: Do not use the torque value for final tightening.

NOTE: The torque values for the two parts listed are for a preliminary step. Ensure that the thread and seat surfaces are clean and coated with engine oil.
