Collision Diagnosis

To Repair The SRS, Perform The Following Steps.

When SRS Is Activated In A Collision:
(1) Replace the diagnosis sensor unit.
(2) Remove the air bag modules.
(3) Check the SRS components using the table shown below:
- Replace any SRS components showing visible signs of damage (dents, cracks, deformation).
(4) Conduct self-diagnosis. Refer to "Self-diagnosis" for details. Ensure the remainder of the SRS is operating properly.
(5) Install new ai(bag modules.
(6) Conduct self-diagnosis again.

When SRS Is Not Activated In A Collision:
(1) Check the SRS components using the table:
- Replace any SRS components showing visible signs of damage (dents, cracks, deformation).
(2) Conduct self-diagnosis using CONSULT and "AIR BAG" warning lamp. Refer to "Self-diagnosis" for details. Ensure entire SRS operates properly.
