Antenna: Description and Operation

Power is supplied at all times
^ through 7.5 A fuse (No. (8) , located in the fuse block)
^ to power antenna terminal (3)
Ground is supplied to the power antenna terminal (6) through body grounds (B4) , (B13) and (T16).
When the radio is turned to the ON position, battery positive voltage is supplied
^ through radio terminal (5)
^ to power antenna terminal (4).
The antenna raises and is held in the extended position.
When the radio is turned to the OFF position, battery positive voltage is interrupted
^ from radio terminal (5)
^ to power antenna terminal (4)
The antenna retracts.
