SERVICE INFORMATION
This bulletin will help you order the correct audio component when an exchange unit is required. When ordering an audio exchange unit, it is important to properly identify the authorized repair facility (MFR column in the matrix) and model number of the unit being replaced. This will ensure the exchange unit shipped from the audio repair center is the same brand and model as the original unit.
You can increase technician efficiency and enhance F-1 performance with the Audio One Program and order the audio chassis before the customer's first visit. For further details contact your regional representative or see Warranty Bulletin WB/96-015.
The following codes from the matrix identify the authorized repair facility:
A = Alpine
B = Bose (serviced by Clarion)
C = Clarion
F = Ford
P = Panasonic
IMPORTANT:
1. Return the audio component core to the authorized repair facility immediately after removal from the customer's vehicle to ensure the repair facility has sufficient float stock. Once a dealer is charged back for an unreturned core, the repair center may not issue a credit for the late return. If the repair center does issue a credit, the dealer will be charged back 50% of the dealer net price.
