Special Customer Handling Procedures
If seat belt buckle(s) replacement is necessary and the parts are not in stock:1. The required seat belt buckle should be ordered under the Customer Care ordering procedure.
2. If the customer will be carrying rear seat passengers prior to the installation of the replacement buckles, Nissan will authorize a rental car up to a three day maximum time period.
NOTE:
Customers choosing to drive their vehicles until the necessary buckles are installed should be cautioned not to carry passengers in the rear seat (s) that have an affected seat belt buckle.
3. Schedule another appointment for the customer to return and have the necessary seat belt buckles replaced as soon as possible.
