Tightening Torque After Gear Has Settled: 4.9 Nm (43 ft. lbs.)

[1]: Under normal operating oil pressure at rack speed of 3.5 mm (0.138 inch) per second.
[2]: When the range is within ±11.5 mm (±0.453 inch) from the neutral position.
[3]: Apply a force of 49 N (11 lbs.) to the steering wheel to check the gear housing movement.
