Camshaft Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

COMPONENT INSPECTION
Camshaft Position Sensor
1. Start engine and warm it up to the normal operating temperature.
2. Check voltage between camshaft position sensor terminals (40), (41) and ground.




Terminal (40) and engine ground




Terminal (41) and engine ground
If NG, replace distributor assembly with camshaft position sensor.
