Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.

Introduction

Sometimes the symptom is not present when the vehicle is brought in for service. if possible, recreate the conditions present at the time of the incident. Doing so may help avoid a No Trouble Found Diagnosis. The following tests illustrate ways to simulate the conditions/environment under which the vehicle experiences an electrical incident.

The tests are broken into the six following topics;
1. Vehicle vibration
2. Heat sensitive
3. Freezing
4. Water intrusion
5. Electrical load
6. Cold or hot start up
