The 1998 Altima uses a new type of A/C refrigerant connection for all joints except the expansion valve. The new connections use 0-rings of different diameters and thicknesses than used in previous models. Use the specifications and part numbers contained in this bulletin to select 0-rings for use in 1998 Altima A/C systems. Use of incorrect 0-rings will result in poor sealing and leaks.
