1998 ALTIMA SUNVISOR CLIP REMOVAL

SERVICE INFORMATION

The sunvisor clip in the 1998 Altima is of a different design than those used in previous models. Please use the following procedure to remove the clip without causing damage to the clip, headliner or the sheet metal above the headliner.

SERVICE PROCEDURE





1. Using a non-marring plastic tool, lift the cover of the clip (see Figure 1).





2. Push the clip assembly upward on the headliner (see Figure 2).

3. Using the plastic tool, press the top of the clip hook downward and pull the clip assembly out (see Figure 2).
