1998 ALTIMA SULFUR ODOR FROM EXHAUST

APPLIED VEHICLE:
1998 Altima (L30) SERVICE INFORMATION

This bulletin provides repair information for 1998 Altima if a sulfur odor is noticed from the exhaust especially during warm-up.

There is a replacement engine control module (ECM) for this incident.

This procedure should only be applied to vehicles for which there is a verified customer complaint about sulfur odor from the exhaust.

SERVICE PROCEDURE





1. Install an ECM as specified in the Parts Information table.

2. Use the bracket from the original ECM when installing the new ECM.
