Tachometer: Description and Operation

POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
With the ignition switch in the ON or START position, power is supplied:
^ through 10 A fuse [No. 12, located in the fuse block (J/B)]
^ to combination meter terminals (2), (22) and (43).
Ground is supplied:
^ to combination meter terminal (38)
^ through body grounds (M2) and (M61).

The tachometer indicates engine speed in revolutions per minute (rpm).
The tachometer is regulated by a signal:
^ from terminal (3) of the ECM (ECCS control module)
^ to combination meter terminal (35) for the tachometer.
