ALTIMA HIGH MOUNT STOP LAMP REMOVAL

APPLIED VEHICLE:
1998 Altima (L30), except SE models

SERVICE INFORMATION

If the high mount stop lamp housing (located on the rear parcel shelf of the vehicle) on the 98MY Altima is removed incorrectly, the front tabs may break.

Follow the procedure in this bulletin to ensure proper removal of the housing.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Push the stop lamp housing straight back toward the rear window approximately 3A".





2. Lift the forward portion straight up (see Figure 1).

3. Pull forward to remove.
