Symptom Chart





Symptom Chart 1 (Malfunction Is Indicated In Diagnosis Mode)





Before starting trouble diagnosis above, perform PRELIMINARY CHECK.







Power Supply Circuit Check
If NG, check the following.
^ 7.5 A fuse [No. (40), located in fuse block (J/B)]
^ 1O A fuse [No. (13), located in fuse block (J/B)]
^ Harness for open or short between fuse and combination meter.





Ground Circuit Check

Meter/Gauge Resistance Check
1. Disconnect Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) connector.







2. Check resistance between installation screws of meter/gauge.

Diode Check





^ Check continuity using an ohmmeter.
^ Diode is functioning properly if test results are as shown above.





^ Diodes for warning lamps are built into the combination meter printed circuit.
