Cruise Control: Adjustments

AUTOMATIC SPEED CONTROL DEVICE (ASCD) WIRE ADJUSTMENT








CAUTION:
^ Be careful not to twist Automatic Speed Control Device (ASCD) wire when removing it.
^ Do not overly tighten ASCD wire excessively during adjustment.
Confirm that acceleration wire is properly adjusted.

Adjust the ASCD wire in the follows:
1. Loosen lock nut and tighten adjusting nut until throttle drum starts to move.
2. From that position turn back adjusting nut 0.5 to 1 turn, and secure lock nut.
(This prevents a delay in the operation of the ASCD.)
