Cylinder Head Torque Values & Sequence

Tightening Procedures

Note: Tighten in numerical order as shown.

1. Tighten all bolts to 98 Nm (10 kg-m, 72 ft.lbs.).
2. Completely loosen all bolts.
3. Tighten all bolts to 34 to 44 Nm (3.5 to 4.5 kg-m, 25 to 33 ft.lbs.).
4. Turn all bolts 90 to 95 degrees clockwise.
5. Then turn all bolts 90 to 95 degrees clockwise.
