CONSULT
Consult Inspection Procedure



1. Turn ignition switch "OFF".
2. Connect "CONSULT" to the data link connector.




3. Turn ignition switch "ON".
4. Touch "START".




5. Touch "IVMS".




6. Touch "ILLUM LAMP".




^ DATA MONITOR and ACTIVE TEST are available for the illumination.

Trouble Diagnosis






Work Flow
NOTE:
^ When Local Control Unit (LCU) connectors are disconnected for more than 1 minute such as during trouble diagnoses the "disconnected" data will be memorized by the Body Control Module (BCM). Therefore, after reconnecting the LCU connectors erase the memory.
^ To erase the memory, perform the procedure below.
Erase the memory with CONSULT or remove turn the Ignition switch to "OFF" position and remove 7.5 A fuse (No. (56), located in the fuse and fusible link box).
