Cylinder Head Torque Values & Sequence

Cylinder Head Bolt Tightening Sequence
Tighten bolts (1) to (10) in numerical order using the following procedure:
a. Tighten bolts to 29.4 Nm (3.00 kg-m, 21.69 ft. lbs.).
b. Tighten bolts to 58.8 Nm (6.00 kg-m, 43.37 ft lbs).
c. Loosen bolts completely.
d. Tighten bolts to 29.4 Nm (3.00 kg-m, 21.69 ft. lbs.).
e. Turn bolts 50 to 55 degrees clockwise. If angle wrench is not available, tighten bolts to 53.9 to 63.7 Nm (5.50 to 6.50 kg-m, 39.76 to 46.99 ft lbs).
f. Tighten bolts ((11) to (15)) to 6.3 to 8.3 Nm (0.64 to 0.85 kg-m, 55.8 to 73.5 inch lbs).

Camshaft Tightening
Tighten camshaft bracket bolts using the following procedure:
a. Set camshafts and camshaft brackets.
b. Tighten bolts (11) to (15), then (1) to (10): 2.0 Nm (0.204 kg-m, 17.7 inch lbs.)
c. Tighten bolts (1) to (15): 5.9 Nm (0.60 kg-m, 52.2 inch lbs.)
d. Tighten bolts (1) to (14): 9.0 - 11.8 Nm (0.92 - 1.20 kg-m, 6.7 - 8.7 ft. lbs.)
e. Tighten bolt (15): 6.3 - 8.3 Nm (0.64 - 0.85 kg-m, 55.8 - 73.5 inch lbs.)
