SERVICE INFORMATION

Some Model Year 2000 Maximas built before May of 1999 did not include the rear upper child seat anchor plates. If a customer requests installation of these anchors in an applied vehicle that did not originally have them, use the instructions in this bulletin to install them.

This repair is covered by the new vehicle limited warranty, and there will therefore be no cost to the customer. Claims information is contained in this bulletin.
