SERVICE INFORMATION

Some Nissan vehicles require that an adapter harness be used to connect SRS modules or seat belt pre-tensioners to the Deployment Tool (P/N J-38381). This adapter harness (P/N J-44230) applies to seat belt pre-tensioners on 2000 Altima, Frontier, and Xterra. It also applies to the side air bag module for 2000 Maxima.





This new adapter harness will be shipped to Nissan Dealers as an essential tool and should be stored with the Deployment Tool kit J-38381-KIT when not in use. See the Tech-Mate flyer shown for additional information.
